As a result of the good performance put up by the 1st team, they went to the trials for the Bournemouth U.19 and U.16 teams. Rosemary Beveridge was chosen for the U.19 team with Josephine Simmonds as reserve. Suzanne Harwood and Gillian Matterface were reserves for the U.16.

The Form Netball Cup was won by IVA.

The Summer Term saw the start of our swimming lessons, to which we went once a week to the Pier Approach Baths. Also this term we began to concentrate more upon tennis rather than upon rounders. Many of the seniors took coaching lessons and play improved considerably. Unfortunately match fixtures did not materialise.

Our thanks are due to Mrs. Dane whose enthusiasm has done so much to increase interest and to raise the level of the P.E. work.

H. BANKS, Games Captain.
J. SIMMONDS, Games Secretary.
