Owing to the unsettled state of the country in July, there was no formal Prizegiving. The Certificates gained in Public examinations during the year were given to the successful candidates, but as no House Examinations took place there were no Form Prizes awarded.

In the Junior School the following pupils were given Special Mention for good work during the year: R. Heafield, S. Pickering, M. Browning and E. Holmes, and for Catechism well learnt: M. Morgan, A. Haugh, M. Browning and M. Andersen; each received a suitable reward.

The Silver Cups awarded to the Forms that had the highest percentage of marks during the year:

The Winning House for the year - Ignatians.

The " Shorman " Cup awarded to the House scoring highest marks for Discipline - Xaverians.
